Assistant QA/QC Engineer

Masstron Pte Ltd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant QA/QC Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will support our QA/QC Manager in ensuring that products meet the required quality standards throughout the production and assembly process. This is a hands-on role suitable for candidates who are interested in developing their career in quality assurance, quality control and industrial manufacturing .

You will work closely with our Production, Engineering and Project teams, and will gradually gain exposure to customer inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), quality documentation and quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the QA/QC Manager in carrying out quality inspections during the production and assembly process.
• Perform in-process and final quality checks to ensure products meet drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Assist in preparing inspection checklists, reports and quality documentation.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), customer inspections and product handover activities.
• Assist in identifying and recording quality issues and non-conformities.
• Work with Production and Engineering teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Follow up on outstanding quality issues and ensure corrective actions are properly documented.
• Assist in maintaining quality records and documentation.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assist with customer audits and quality-related requests.
• Assist in improving inspection procedures and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply relevant quality standards, inspection methods and customer requirements.
• Perform other quality-related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with relevant experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or quality control will have an advantage.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with Production, Engineering and other internal teams.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to learn and develop practical QA/QC skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.
