Occupational Therapy - Paediatric

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join its client’s team based in Gloucester. This is a part-time role (3 days per week) with hybrid working arrangements, including onsite visits.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of children and young people with a range of needs, including complex disabilities

Provide occupationally focused assessments, reports, and interventions

Act as an expert advisor and practitioner in Children’s OT, offering second opinions when OT provision in EHCPs is contested

Lead OT input for SEND appeals and tribunal legal processes

Work closely with the EHCP Team and other stakeholders, contributing to appeals as an expert witness

Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy

HCPC Registration

Significant experience working with children with SEND

Proven ability to produce high-quality reports for EHCPs

Strong understanding of legal duties and the SEND Code of Practice

Experience in social services and paediatric settings
