Working location: Doha, Qatar

Key responsibilities:

Manage procurement of goods, materials, and services to ensure that operational needs are met, considering price, quality, on-time delivery, and continuity of supply.

Process incoming customer requests (workflow transactions, purchase requisitions, email requests, etc.), ensuring agreed cycle time and quality standards while maintaining high customer/user satisfaction.

Process purchase requisitions promptly and accurately to support business needs.

Proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding quotations, product availability, and order status updates.

Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQs), collect, and organize supplier quotations.

Evaluate and compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, and delivery terms, supporting the selection process.

Assist in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and support the onboarding process for new vendors.

Address and resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, shortages, and quality discrepancies.

Monitor order status and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.

Support inventory planning activities to ensure material availability as required.

Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.

Track and report on supplier performance and delivery reliability.

Assist in spend analysis and reporting activities.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows.

Maintain and update supplier master data to ensure that the database is accurate and up to date.

Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance, escalate findings to relevant stakeholders, and address performance issues with suppliers as necessary.

Requirements:

Knowledge and experience of SAP, Ariba, and procurement tools will be an advantage.

Proficient Microsoft skills (Excel, word processing, PowerPoint).

Years of experience: 4-7 years.

Academic background: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in technical/commercial or other relevant education.

Visa status: Transferable visa/NOC available.

Available in Qatar.

Maximum of 30 days notice period for joining.
