Senior Advisor – ESG Services
Accountabilities: The Senior Advisor – ESG Services will support clients in developing and executing ESG strategies while providing insights that drive measurable sustainability outcomes. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, consulting experience, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality ESG advisory services.
Partner with clients to understand business objectives and develop customized ESG strategies aligned with their sustainability goals.
Conduct ESG assessments to identify key improvement areas, risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
Engage with investors, customers, employees, communities, and other stakeholders to gather insights and support ESG initiatives.
Assist clients with ESG reporting activities, including sustainability reports and disclosures aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
Evaluate ESG-related risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for mitigation and long-term value creation.
Monitor evolving ESG regulations, standards, and industry best practices to help clients maintain compliance.
Develop ESG performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress and track sustainability impact.
Deliver training sessions and workshops to strengthen ESG awareness and capabilities within client organizations.
Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to identify emerging trends and compare performance against industry peers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective ESG solutions and advisory engagements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, or related fields, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A combination of technical ESG knowledge and consulting capabilities is essential for success in this role.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Proven experience in ESG consulting, sustainability, environmental services, or a related field.
Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards, including GRI, SASB, and TCFD.
Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Experience managing client relationships and facilitating stakeholder discussions.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.
Knowledge of ESG regulations, sustainability trends, and industry best practices.
Proficiency with relevant analytical tools and software used for ESG assessments and reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and detail-oriented approach.
