Senior Operations Executive – Dry Bulk / Commodities

📍 Singapore | Permanent | Immediate / Short Notice Preferred We are representing an established international commodities trading company seeking an experienced Senior Operations Executive to join its Singapore team. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end execution of dry bulk voyages from nomination through completion.

Coordinate vessel/cargo nominations, laycan, loading and discharge operations.

Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, port agents, surveyors and internal trading teams.

Handle shipping and trade documentation including B/L, LOI, NOR, SOF and invoices .

Monitor freight/hire payments, voyage costs and operational P&L.

Calculate and manage laytime, demurrage and despatch .

Handle operational issues, claims and exceptions to ensure smooth voyage execution.

Maintain accurate voyage records and provide timely operational updates.

Requirements 7+ years of relevant experience in dry bulk shipping, freight operations or physical commodity trade operations.

Strong knowledge of Voyage Charter, Time Charter and/or COA operations.

Hands-on experience in voyage execution, post-fixture operations and shipping documentation.

Good understanding of laytime, demurrage/despatch, B/L and LOI .

Exposure to metals, minerals, iron ore or other dry bulk commodities is highly advantageous.

Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Candidates currently based in Singapore with relevant work eligibility preferred.
