Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. Key Responsibilities Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash management.
Provide hands-on leadership across the revenue cycle, including patient access, case management, health information management, billing, and collections.
Oversee Medicare cost reporting and ensure compliance with Critical Access Hospital reimbursement requirements.
Develop strategies to strengthen cash flow, manage debt obligations, and maintain financial stability.
Partner with executive leadership on capital investments, facility expansion, and long-term financial planning.
Monitor revenue cycle performance, including collections, DNFB, and other key financial metrics.
Provide financial reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee.
Lead and develop finance and operational teams while helping clinical managers strengthen budgeting and financial management practices.
Oversee audits, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and financial risk management.
Qualifications Critical Access Hospital finance experience required; rural hospital experience may be considered.
Strong, hands-on revenue cycle leadership experience, including patient access, billing, collections, and related functions.
Thorough understanding of Medicare cost reports and Critical Access Hospital reimbursement.
Significant progressive healthcare finance experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
Strong accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and cash management expertise.
Experience with hospital capital projects, debt financing, and financial planning preferred.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA not required.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to relocate to or reside within the Madison/Morgan County area.
