Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for new product introduction (NPI), including trial production planning, process validation, and mass production transfer; track trial production data, lead problem analysis, and drive corrective and improvement actions;
2. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Material, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure NPI schedule and product quality;
3. Maintain and optimize process stability on the production line;
4. Analyze process bottlenecks and quality issues, and drive improvements in yield, efficiency, and labor hours;
5. Prepare, maintain, and release process-related documents for new products, including SOP, WI, BOM, process flow, etc.;
6. Participate in automation/semi-automation implementation and optimization of tooling and fixtures;
7. Support customer visits, audits, sample preparation, and new product trial production.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Optoelectronics, Communications, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related fields; At least 2 years of experience in the optical module, optical component, or EDFA industry; familiar with product manufacturing processes, key equipment operation, and common process issues; Familiar with quality and process improvement tools, such as 5Why, FMEA, 8D, SPC, DOE, etc.; Able to independently take ownership of projects and effectively coordinate and communicate across departments; Good English reading and writing skills, with the ability to communicate with Chinese and English-speaking teams; Willing to work overseas and in a bilingual Chinese-English working environment; adaptable to multicultural management.
