Student Adviser

Your tasks

We are looking for motivated, responsible, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Student Advisers. In this role, you will help students and young adults understand their general insurance needs, provide suitable insurance information, and support them in making informed decisions about protecting themselves, their belongings, and their future.

1. Client Advisory & Education

• Understand clients' needs and introduce relevant general insurance solutions.
• Explain insurance coverage, policy benefits, exclusions, and claims procedures in simple terms.
• Educate students and young adults on the importance of personal protection and risk management.

1. Business Development

• Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, campus outreach, and other approved channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with students, young professionals, families, and other customer groups.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.

1. Customer Service & Policy Support

• Assist clients with insurance quotations, policy applications, renewals, and general enquiries.
• Provide administrative support for policy servicing and claims submissions.
• Follow up with clients to ensure a positive customer experience.

1. Professional Development

• Participate in product training, sales coaching, and professional development programmes.
• Keep up to date with general insurance products, industry developments, and applicable regulations.
• Work towards individual performance targets and team objectives.

1. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure client information and policy documents are handled accurately and confidentially.
• Follow company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide accurate information and recommend products only within the scope of authorised duties.

Requirements

This position is suitable for students, fresh graduates, and individuals who are interested in building a career in insurance, financial services, customer relationship management, and business development.

• O level, A level, Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification; students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Interest in insurance, customer service, sales, or business development.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Relevant insurance qualifications or experience are an advantage but not essential as training is provided, subject to applicable licensing and competency requirements.
