Context / Project Background

Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with strong experience in banking or insurance environments.

You will play a key role in analysing, designing, and supporting business-critical systems, ensuring that functional requirements are translated into scalable and effective IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional analysis activities and produce detailed design documentation
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications

• Support system enhancements and production changes
• Evaluate service requests and assess feasibility and impact

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders
• Support testing, quality assurance, and system improvements

• Ensure alignment with Agile delivery practices

Required Skills & Expertise

Must Have:

• Strong experience as Functional Analyst in banking or insurance domain
• Proven experience in functional design and system analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in testing and quality assurance

Should Have / Nice to Have:

• Data-driven mindset
• Basic knowledge of data tools (SQL, Informatica, Qlik, SAS)

• Understanding of IT security principles
