Team Lead – Corporate Banking RM (Japanese Corporates)

A leading international bank is looking for an experienced relationship manager to lead a team covering Japanese multinational corporate clients, with a focus on the real estate sector and close coordination with counterparts in Tokyo. The Role Lead and manage a team responsible for relationship management of Japanese multinational corporates, driving service quality and sustainable growth Develop strategies to deepen existing relationships and win new business, maximising portfolio profitability Oversee credit risk analysis, credit proposal preparation, documentation, and facility setup in line with internal and regulatory standards Drive execution of complex transactions, coordinating with product, risk, and operations teams Act as key liaison with overseas branches (particularly Japan), Head Office, and internal departments to deliver integrated financial solutions Mentor and develop junior team members

What You'll Need 7+ years in corporate banking, with strong relationship management and leadership experience Solid understanding of capital markets, corporate banking products, and credit analysis Proven track record managing Japanese multinational clients, with an established network among relevant corporate and financial stakeholders in Japan. Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese, required to communicate effectively with Japanese multinational clients and coordinate with counterparts in Japan. Strong leadership and team management capabilities
