SAP MM Consultant

Function:

• Provide functional and technical support for SAP MM processes including:

Procurement

Inventory Management

Material Master

Vendor Master

Purchase Requisitions (PR)

Purchase Orders (PO)

Goods Receipt (GR)

Invoice Verification (IV)

Service Procurement

Subcontracting

Consignment

Stock Transfers

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions and functional specifications.

• Configure and maintain SAP MM organizational structures, master data, and purchasing processes.

• Support end-users by troubleshooting SAP MM issues and resolving tickets within agreed SLAs.

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders to optimize procurement and inventory processes.

• Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with ABAP developers.

• Conduct end-user training and prepare user manuals and process documentation.

• Monitor and improve integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules including:

SAP FI

SAP SD

SAP PP

SAP PM

SAP WM/EWM

• Support release strategies, approval workflows, and purchasing controls.

• Assist in data migration activities and master data governance.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and SAP best practices.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process automation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Computer Science

• Information Systems

• Business Administration

• Supply Chain

• Engineering

• Accounting

• Or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM support and implementation.

• Experience in at least one full SAP implementation or rollout project.

• Strong knowledge of:
• Procurement processes
• Inventory management
• Material valuation
• Release strategies
• Service procurement

• Knowledge of SAP integration with FI, SD, PP, and PM modules.

• Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams.

• Understanding business process re-engineering and SAP best practices.
