ORGANIZATION SUMMARY: World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Since then, for 80 years, across 100 countries, World Relief has partnered with local churches and communities to build a world where families thrive and communities flourish.

Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

POSITION SUMMARY: World Relief seeks a....

Responsibilities Assist staff with job readiness activities, including resumes, applications, and interview preparation

Support clients during the job search process and connect them to community resources

Help maintain accurate client records, files, and data entry in program systems

Assist with case management tasks under staff supervision

Prepare materials and set up for workshops, orientations, and trainings

Provide logistical support during classes, meetings, and group sessions

Help coordinate schedules, appointments, and communications with clients

Support outreach and follow-up with clients regarding services and activities

Assist with employer engagement tasks such as maintaining job leads and resource lists

Perform general administrative duties as assigned to support program operations

Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief

Strong cross-cultural competency and sensitivity to the experiences of refugees and immigrants

Compassionate, professional, and client-centered approach

Clear verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to learn new databases and case management systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Preferred High school diploma or bachelor's degree in related field.

Valid driver’s license

Fluency in English required, additional languages preferred, such as Spanish, Swahili, Rohingya, or Arabic

While some internships are unpaid, the program is competitive and you are encouraged to approach it in the same way you would a job. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, resume, application, and to pass a Criminal Background Check. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
