Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience.

Tasks:

• Install electrical controls and panel boxes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• Install, test and adjust safety control devices.
• Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained.
• Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
• Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
