Accountant

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, payments, and financial transactions. Handle daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliations. Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and account statements. Track client payments, outstanding balances, and company expenses. Assist with payroll preparation and expense management. Prepare periodic financial reports and budget updates. Support tax documentation and statutory filings. Maintain organised physical and electronic financial records. Assist management, auditors, and external accountants when required. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial information.

Requirements:

Serving NYSC member or recent graduate with an HND or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Must understand bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, and expense tracking. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required. Familiarity with accounting software and Nigerian tax or statutory requirements will be an advantage.
