Join a Global Transformation Program

Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives on driving complex projects, working with a wide range of stakeholders and creating progress across teams and countries? Do you enjoy working in an international environment and have the confidence to lead without direct people management responsibility?

We are looking for two Project Managers to join the Unified Platform (UP) Program, a strategic global transformation program focused on rolling out standardized solutions across our global organization. The solutions include AP Essentials, Basware, TMFF and D365.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall end-to-end implementation in close collaboration with the specialist teams assigned to each country rollout. You do not need to be a technical specialist or have experience with all four systems. What matters most is your ability to understand the overall solution, see the connections between applications and workstreams, and ensure that the implementation continues to move forward.

The role is based in Hvidovre, Denmark, and involves significant international travel, as implementations are carried out onsite in countries across the world.

Project Management and Planning

Drive end-to-end country implementations across multiple systems and workstreams.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and dependencies between deliverables.

Coordinate activities and ensure progress across the different workstreams.

Follow up on deliverables, deadlines and dependencies.

Identify risks and challenges and escalate early if a country rollout or deliverable is not progressing as expected.

Ensure that the organization, systems and users are ready for go-live.

Stakeholder and Team Leadership

Act as the central coordination point between Country Leads, Finance Leads, Vendor Leads, Master Data Leads, specialists and the program management team.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional and international project teams without direct people management responsibility.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment across functions and countries.

Facilitate meetings, workshops, status meetings and decision-making forums.

Manage stakeholders with strong opinions and ensure that discussions remain focused on the objectives of the project.

Support the functional leads by taking ownership of project management, coordination and follow-up, allowing them to focus on their specialist deliverables.

Create accountability and drive progress across the project team.

Governance and Reporting

Work within the existing UP governance framework and use defined templates and processes.

Ensure effective project management and follow up on agreed processes and ways of working.

Prepare status updates and decision material for relevant stakeholders and management.

Manage risks, issues and dependencies.

Ensure that project milestones and stage gates are achieved.

Proactively and clearly escalate challenges when required.

Implementation and Change Management

Coordinate local requirements with the global solution and ensure that relevant requirements are identified and addressed.

Coordinate activities related to testing, training, readiness and deployment.

Ensure that local stakeholders are prepared for go-live.

Coordinate activities across AP Essentials, Basware, TMFF and D365.

Support adoption, go-live and hypercare activities.

Ensure that the different application areas are implemented as one coherent end-to-end solution.

Your profile

You have proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably from complex IT or business transformation projects.

You have experience driving implementation projects from planning through to go-live.

You have strong skills in project planning, coordination and stakeholder management.

You have experience working across different teams, functions or organizations.

International or multi-country project experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Experience from logistics, supply chain or another complex international organization is an advantage.

Experience with ERP, D365, Finance, Accounts Payable or similar systems is an advantage.

Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar is an advantage.

A relevant higher education is an advantage, but practical project management experience is valued more highly.

You must be comfortable communicating in English. Danish is not a requirement.

You are willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis.

As a person

You are structured and organized.

You are proactive and focused on execution and progress.

You are a strong communicator.

You have strong stakeholder management skills.

You are confident in your role and able to lead without formal authority.

You are not afraid of difficult conversations and have the confidence to challenge stakeholders when necessary.

You take ownership of resolving problems and challenges and involve the right people when needed.

You are able to create focus and keep attention on the most important priorities.

You are collaborative and comfortable working across organizational silos.

You enjoy working with people from different cultures.

You are flexible and thrive in an environment of change.

You can balance strategic priorities with operational execution.

You have natural authority and can drive a project independently.

International Travel

International travel is a significant part of the role. Implementations are typically carried out onsite in the relevant country.

A typical implementation may involve approximately one week onsite in connection with a specific delivery. In some cases, the Project Manager may be required to travel for up to two weeks, for example to support training across multiple systems. Go-live activities will typically require approximately one week onsite.

The actual travel requirements will vary depending on the country and implementation.

You should therefore enjoy international travel and be comfortable travelling to different parts of the world.

We offer

A central role in a large and highly visible global transformation program.

The opportunity to work on international implementations across multiple countries.

Significant stakeholder exposure and a high level of responsibility.

The opportunity to work with AP Essentials, Basware, TMFF and D365.

Close collaboration with experienced functional leads and international teams.

A role with significant responsibility and influence without direct people management responsibility.

Strong opportunities for professional and personal development.

A dynamic, international and collaborative working environment.
