Sourcing Engineer/Procurement Engineer (MNC/Mechanical part)

Responsibilities

• Source and develop suppliers for precision-machined parts, sheet metal, fabricated components and mechanical assemblies.
• Manage RFQs, analyse quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Review engineering drawings, BOMs and GD&T to assess supplier capabilities.
• Support NPI, DFM/DFA reviews, prototypes and engineering changes.
• Drive cost savings and improve supplier quality, delivery and performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant sourcing, procurement, supplier development or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Knowledge of machining, sheet metal, welding and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
