Tasks:

Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. Plant and move trees. Tree removal.

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :

• Horticulturist Trade Certification.
• International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification.
• Arboriculturists Trade Certification.
