Job Scope

As an Area Manager at GYG , you’ll oversee multiple restaurants and play a key role in developing our Restaurant Managers and driving performance across your area.

You’ll be out in the restaurants, working closely with your teams to keep operations running smoothly, maintain high standards and identify opportunities to improve performance. When things get busy, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps everyone focused and moving in the right direction.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing Restaurant Managers across multiple outlets
• Driving consistent operational, food quality and service standards across your area
• Reviewing outlet performance and identifying opportunities to improve sales and profitability
• Managing and reviewing P&L, COGS, labour and operating costs across multiple outlets
• Coaching managers on people development, performance and day-to-day operations
• Ensuring food safety, workplace safety and compliance standards are consistently met
• Monitoring inventory, wastage and operational controls
• Supporting recruitment, training and succession planning for the management team
• Managing customer feedback and driving improvements in guest experience
• Working closely with the wider Restaurant Operations team to deliver business priorities

What We’re Looking For

We’ll provide you with the support and tools to succeed. We’re looking for someone with the attitude, maturity and energy to lead at a multi-site level.

You’ll need:

• Proven experience managing multiple outlets in a high-volume hospitality or F&B environment
• Strong experience leading, coaching and developing managers
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to work independently
• Good computer skills and confidence working with systems and data
• A hands-on approach and the ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
