BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with on and off-site meetings pertaining to technical issues
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shop drawings, and other related documents to the consultants or authorities
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at the site including periodical site inspection and attend meetings during the course of the project
• Able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE, and RTO
• Development of Procedures, detailed Engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Plan monthly work schedules and set productivity to be achieved
• Conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and management of List of Materials (LOM) to monitor the progress of projects
• Verify technical specifications for adequacy
• Disseminate technical specifications to the supervisor
• Identify and record any product quality problems and implement solutions

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Singapore Projects
• Familiar with construction sequence and Method Statement or different trade
• Able to read construction/shop drawings and understand detailing
• Understand ISO 9001 clauses and being able to implement / audit procedures is an added advantage
• Must be able to monitor project KPI requirements
