Salesforce B2B commerce
Accountabilities: The Salesforce B2B Commerce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce-based commerce solutions while ensuring high-quality implementation and alignment with business needs. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and customizing Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions based on business requirements.
Designing and implementing custom functionality using the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
Building and maintaining custom UI web components for B2B Commerce experiences.
Configuring and extending Salesforce B2B Commerce capabilities while identifying opportunities for customization and optimization.
Working with CloudCraze extension points and determining appropriate approaches between configuration and custom development.
Supporting B2B Lightning implementations and Salesforce Order Management functionalities.
Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective commerce solutions.
Developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce components while following best practices for scalability and maintainability.
Applying modern frontend development tools and practices, including Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, and related technologies.
Troubleshooting technical issues and improving the performance and usability of Salesforce commerce applications.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce developer with strong expertise in B2B Commerce solutions and the ability to deliver customized enterprise applications. Required qualifications and skills include:
4–6 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Technical Consultant.
Strong experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce and related development practices.
Salesforce B2B Developer certification is required.
Good understanding of the Salesforce Force.com platform and hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
Experience developing custom UI web components and custom functionality within Salesforce B2B Commerce.
Strong knowledge of CloudCraze extension points, including configuration and customization approaches.
Exposure to B2B Lightning and/or Salesforce Order Management.
Experience with modern frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and support UK working hours.
