Accountabilities: The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications using Java technologies. You will contribute to technical decisions, improve system architecture, and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Develop and evolve backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available REST APIs.

Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.

Develop integrations between internal systems and enterprise platforms.

Participate in technical solution design and architecture decisions.

Apply software development best practices through code reviews and quality standards.

Create and maintain unit tests and support automated testing strategies.

Analyze and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.

Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, QA, and Mobile Development teams.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, execution, and delivery activities.

Drive continuous improvements in application architecture, performance, and reliability.

Support initiatives focused on system stability, scalability, and technical excellence.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced backend developer with strong Java expertise and a solid understanding of modern software architecture. You should have experience building enterprise applications, working with distributed systems, and collaborating in agile development environments.

Bachelor’s degree completed in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Strong professional experience in backend development using Java.

Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework ecosystem.

Experience developing REST APIs.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL Server.

Experience with messaging solutions such as Apache Kafka.

Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of version control and collaboration tools such as Git.

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Ability to analyze and resolve performance, scalability, and application stability issues.

Preferred technical knowledge:

Java 17+.

Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.

Hibernate / JPA.

Maven and Gradle.

Kafka Streams.

OpenShift.

GitLab.

Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, and SonarQube.

JUnit, Mockito, TDD, and BDD practices.

WebSphere and JBoss.

Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar solutions.
