In this role it is strongly meritorious if you have previous IKEA experience.

You are passionate about people, diversity and inclusion and a strong ambassador for the IKEA culture and values. You are an influential leader, with ability to work with high level leaders and matrix partners. As an excellent collaborator you will be able to positively influence the organization and use your expertise in the diversity and inclusion area. As part of that it is important that you have international work experience in a multicultural environment. You must be able to understand our business priorities and how diversity and inclusion can support these priorities. You are good at creating relationships and you enjoy working interdependently and within a team environment.

We are looking for candidates with minimum 3 years in diversity and inclusion or human resources management, where you will have worked with both developing strategies, securing implementation and following up on goals. It is critical that you are excellent in English verbal and written communication.

ABOUT THE JOB

In your role as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Specialist within our Centre of Expertise you will support our business ambitions and People Strategy through establishing IKEA as a diverse and inclusive organization with your strong contribution to the agenda, partnering with the people responsible for diversity and inclusion in each unit and cross functionally, supporting the diversity and inclusion network.

You will:

  • As part of the Centre of Expertise for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion secure access to updated knowledge about market trends, latest developments and best practices in Diversity and Inclusion.
  • Support the INGKA Group Diversity and Inclusion team to establish a solid Diversity and Inclusion approach, valid for all countries and organizations.
  • Support and help lead the global Diversity & Inclusion Network.
  • Support specific Diversity and Inclusion initiatives with a global perspective and local adaptations and implementations.
  • Support integration of Diversity and Inclusion in all functions of People and Culture and other functions of INGKA Group.
  • Support creation and maintenance of the Diversity and Inclusion site on Inside and IKEA.com.
  • Create and maintain supporting material such as the Diversity and Inclusion Approach Toolkit and material to support specific dimensions of diversity.
  • Support Group Equality, Diversity & Inclusion agenda in other assignments and initiatives and contribute in projects related to diversity.
  • Collaborate with external organizations focused on diversity and inclusion
  • Serve as a role model and an ambassador to the IKEA Diversity and Inclusion purpose, impacting our customers, co-workers and society

In this role you will report to the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager. This role is located in Malmö, there will be frequent travel to business units/stores where needed and in order to support our diversity and inclusion network.
