Junior Engineer – Level 2 | Advanced Infrastructure & Systems Support

Already have solid IT support experience and want to move into deeper infrastructure & systems troubleshooting ? This L2 role is for engineers who enjoy solving the harder tickets that go beyond basic helpdesk support.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Take ownership of complex tickets escalated from L1
- Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory & Group Policy
- Support DNS, DHCP, file/print services
- Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace as assigned
- Support firewall & VPN configuration
- Perform server patching and maintenance
- Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues
- Support VMware / Hyper-V environments
- Perform backup & restore operations
- Triage basic EDR / security alerts
- Support Azure / AWS environments where required
- Prepare RCA, technical reports & handover documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and application support teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
- 3–6 years IT / infrastructure / systems support experience
- Good knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory
- Understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN & firewall concepts
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and follow change-control procedures
- Nice to have: Azure Fundamentals, Network+, Security+, ITIL or PowerShell/Bash scripting experience.
