Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s technology infrastructure and ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all IT systems. This role involves developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, managing technology projects, and providing strategic direction to support the organization’s goals. The IT Manager is also tasked with maintaining and upgrading hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

To ensure success as an IT Manager, you should possess strong technical proficiency, be a strategic thinker, excel in project management, and open to performing both hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

4+ years work experience in Information Technology

Experience with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) in retail is an asset

Experience with networking (LAN/WAN/VPN/VNET, switches, ports, firewalls, DHCP basics)

Experience with budget management and planning

Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure is an asset

Demonstrated vendor management and stakeholder management abilities

Job Responsibilities

Plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot organization’s retail systems and network required for day-to-day store operations and business continuity

Own and develop third party service vendor relationships

Partner with service vendors to evaluate existing service level indicators and objectives, and identify opportunities for modernization and efficiency improvements

Manage organizational hardware standards, access policies, and ITSM support processes

Identify and lead the troubleshooting for network and connectivity errors

Implement and troubleshoot POS, VOIP, and Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL)

Lead and be responsible for IT security best practices and compliance standards

Create and maintain internal IT system documentations including methods, procedures, and organizational standards

Schedule

Full-time (40 hrs/week); Monday to Friday

In-office role

Travel required to store locations as needed.

$70,000-$80,000
