About the company

I'm John, a practicing architect in Lagos. In April, I taught myself to build and shipped Grenonyx — a verified professional ID and community platform for all construction industry professionals, from architects, engineers, QS, and solo, as a non-technical founder, using Lovable. It's been live since May. The sharable Grenonyx trust card and Gren - an AI career assistant are both working in production, with real early users already on the platform.

Here's the problem: There's no centralized social and professional platform focused on construction industry professionals globally, hiring and referrals still run on word of mouth in Africa and many other continents around the world and there's also no single corporate hiring and freelance platform that serves us a as global trillion dollar industry. Grenonyx aims to fix all that.

Your tasks

What I'm looking for A technical co-founder to take Grenonyx from a no-code MVP to a real, scalable product — and to help build the company, not just the app.

What you'd own

• Hardening the current build and owning our technical architecture going forward
• Designing and building our centralized verification pipeline
• Shaping product decisions as a genuine co-founder, not an outsourced developer
• Eventually building and leading an engineering team as we raise

Requirements

• Full-stack development experience — you can build and ship, not just design systems on paper
• A track record of finishing things (shipped projects, open source, hackathons — show me, don't just tell me)
• Comfort working with ambiguity and a non-technical co-founder
• A real reason this problem matters to you — family in the trades, frustration with how invisible skilled professionals are, whatever it is
• Honesty about your own personal runway — I need to know you can sustain unpaid work for a stretch before we're funded

What we offer

No salary right now — I'm bootstrapping. What's on the table is real, meaningful equity as a true co-founder (we'll discuss specifics based on your experience and commitment, with standard vesting), a seat at the table on every major decision, and the chance to build something genuinely new in a massive, underserved industry — not another fintech app.
