We are looking for dedicated and knowledgeable JAMB Tutors to prepare students for the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Job Summary

The JAMB Tutor will be responsible for teaching assigned subjects, helping students strengthen their understanding of key topics, identifying learning gaps, and preparing them to perform exceptionally well in the UTME.

The ideal candidate must have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. We are looking for tutors who are committed to student progress and can thrive in an intensive, results-driven learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned JAMB subjects in line with the current UTME syllabus.
• Prepare structured lesson plans and teaching materials to support effective learning.
• Explain difficult concepts clearly and provide practical examples to improve understanding.
• Administer practice questions, assessments, and mock examinations to track student progress.
• Identify students' weak areas and provide targeted support to help them improve.
• Monitor student performance and provide feedback on areas requiring further attention.
• Prepare students for the speed, accuracy, and demands of the UTME examination.
• Participate in team meetings, lesson reviews, and other academic activities as required.
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and consistency throughout the programme.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the relevant JAMB subjects.
• Previous experience teaching or preparing students for JAMB is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication and online teaching skills.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and engage students in a virtual classroom.
• Good classroom management and time management skills.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a suitable device for online teaching.
• Commitment to working the agreed schedule throughout the programme.
• A strong interest in helping students improve their performance and achieve competitive UTME scores.

Remuneration and Work Schedule

Monthly remuneration is based on the subject track assigned.
