Junior Accountant

What EviSmart Is Building

EviSmart is the leading dental Autopilot system operating across 28 countries in a $40B healthcare industry — and the Manila team builds and ships it. Not an MVP. Not a pilot. Live, in production, with thousands of dental labs and dentists depending on the platform every day to run their business.

We have multiple in-house AI teams building the next generation of dental design automation — and Manila is where it gets operationalized. We are one of the few genuinely AI-first companies in the Philippines. The models are being built here. The product is scaling here. The opportunity is here.

Why EviSmart

Leading dental Autopilot system in a $40B global healthcare industry, operating across 28 countries, live in production. Multiple in-house AI teams building proprietary models, not just consuming APIs. Claude, Cursor, Luvable, and LLM-powered workflows are part of the daily stack.

Manila is not a back office. It is the delivery engine. Operations, AI, product, and engineering all run from here.

Your work ships globally. We promote based on output, not tenure. The people who move fastest here are the ones who own their work completely. 300+ people and growing, the career path is real because the company is growing into it.

Why This Role Right Now

This Junior Accountant owns the Philippine books — AP, general ledger, and tax compliance. Every journal entry that lands correctly, every reconciliation that closes clean, every BIR return filed on time — that is this role. Detail work done at a high standard, consistently, without being asked twice.

Note from Your Domain Leader

This role sits right at the intersection of control, scale, and real operational change. We need someone who is comfortable owning the details, close, compliance, process discipline, but who also sees where the function needs to go next and pushes it there.

The people who do well here are hands-on, sharp under pressure, and know how to lead a team without hiding behind hierarchy. You will work closely with finance, operations, IT, and external partners, so this role suits someone who likes being in the middle of important decisions and making things run better.

If that sounds like you, let’s talk.

What You Will Own (90-day Outcomes)

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Record and manage all AP entries in QuickBooks accurately and on schedule

Process supplier invoices and validate against purchase orders and supporting documents

Monitor due dates and ensure timely vendor disbursements

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies before they age

General Ledger

Prepare and post journal entries for month-end closing — accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjusting entries

Maintain the GL with accurate account coding and proper period allocation

Reconcile subledgers to GL control accounts and investigate any variances

Support month-end and year-end close within established timelines

Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for financial statements

Tax Compliance

Prepare and support filing of Philippine tax returns — VAT, EWT, income tax, and withholding compensation — monthly and quarterly

Maintain organized tax documentation and BIR records in compliance with regulatory requirements

Assist in BIR audit responses and support preparation of required schedules

Accuracy and Escalation

Maintain above-99% data entry accuracy — this is the baseline, not the aspiration

When something does not look right, raise it immediately to the Senior Accountant

You do not wait to be asked — you flag, you escalate, you close the loop

How We Work

We default to accuracy over speed. We flag problems before they compound. We do not wait for someone else to notice what we already see. Manila is the delivery engine for a global platform — the standard is high and the expectation is consistency.
