About this vacancy
As a SharePoint Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring a secure, scalable, and well-governed SharePoint environment that supports collaboration, content management, and business productivity across the organization. Working within the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, you play a key role in maintaining operational excellence while supporting end users and driving adoption of best practices.
Your responsibilities include:
- Administering and configuring SharePoint Online, including site collections, hub sites, permissions, and sharing settings.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining effective information architectures, including site structures, metadata models, and content types.
- Ensuring SharePoint environments comply with established governance, security, and Microsoft 365 standards.
- Managing access controls and collaboration settings in accordance with corporate IT security policies.
- Supporting business users in the effective use of SharePoint as a collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and document management platform.
- Handling user requests, incidents, and operational support activities related to SharePoint.
- Collaborating with Microsoft 365 specialists to deliver a cohesive and governed digital workplace experience.
- Working alongside Power Platform teams to enable controlled and sustainable citizen development initiatives.
- Supporting integrations with Power BI where SharePoint serves as a data repository or document source.
- Contributing to the full lifecycle management of SharePoint sites, including provisioning, reviews, archiving, and decommissioning.
- Documenting configurations, governance processes, and operational procedures.
What we expect from you
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SharePoint administration, support, or a similar Microsoft 365-focused role.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SharePoint Online and the modern SharePoint experience.
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Proven experience managing permissions, access models, sharing mechanisms, and security configurations.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, content governance, and collaboration best practices.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
- Ability to balance operational support, incident management, and continuous platform improvement.
- Familiarity with Power Platform solutions such as Power Apps and Power Automate is considered a plus.
- Experience with Power BI integration scenarios is an advantage.
- Knowledge of records management, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and compliance features is a plus.
- Experience writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts is considered an asset.
- Microsoft 365 and/or SharePoint certifications are highly valued.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Language requirements
- Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of French or Dutch is required.
- Proficiency in English, French, and Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
