Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager IT

Our client is a leading international player operating in the retail and distribution sector, with a strong presence in multiple markets. The company provides a wide range of products and services to both professional and private customers, supported by an extensive network and a strong focus on customer experience.

As part of the IT organization, you will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and transforming business processes across Supply Chain and Finance domains. Acting as a strategic business partner, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into sustainable IT solutions.

• Analyze end-to-end business processes, particularly within Supply Chain and Finance, and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, and design improved processes.
• Translate business needs into pragmatic, scalable, and sustainable SAP-based solutions.
• Challenge business requirements by proposing alternatives aligned with industry best practices and standard solutions.
• Lead or contribute to functional design activities, testing phases, implementation projects, and change initiatives.
• Coordinate collaboration between business teams, IT teams, SAP experts, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure consistency and integration across SAP modules and business processes.
• Support issue resolution by providing functional expertise and a strong understanding of business impacts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of the application landscape.
• Participate in roadmap definition and transformation programs, from analysis through implementation.
• Take ownership of projects or workstreams, ensuring effective planning, stakeholder alignment, and delivery.

Profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a Senior Business Analyst, SAP Consultant, SAP Functional Analyst, or similar role.
• Proven experience working on SAP-related projects, with strong knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Finance processes.
• Good understanding of end-to-end business processes, ideally within a retail, distribution, or complex operational environment.
• Ability to quickly understand business challenges and translate them into effective solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex topics and provide clear recommendations.
• Experience managing projects, coordinating stakeholders, and driving delivery is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with both business and technical audiences.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on business value and results.
• Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is considered an advantage.
• Open-minded, collaborative, and motivated by change and continuous improvement.
