Kitchen Supervisor ? Donair Bros.

Location: 2305 Rabbit Hill Road NW, Edmonton, AB Job type: Full-time and part-time positions available Hours: 20?40 hours per week

Donair Bros. is a family-owned restaurant serving donairs, burgers, poutines, and more. We?re looking for reliable, hands-on Kitchen Supervisors with kitchen experience and experience leading staff in a fast-paced restaurant.

You?ll work alongside the team, supervise daily kitchen operations, and help maintain consistent food quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff and assign duties during each shift.
• Prepare, cook, and wrap donairs, burgers, and other menu items.
• Slice donair beef and grill and cook beef and chicken.
• Coordinate food preparation and keep ingredients stocked during busy periods.
• Ensure orders are accurate, properly portioned, and prepared promptly.
• Train staff on food preparation, kitchen procedures, and cleaning.
• Monitor food temperatures, storage, and safe food-handling practices.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, and ensure cleaning tasks are completed.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Work with ownership to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food kitchen.
• Experience supervising staff or leading shifts.
• Comfortable working hands-on with food preparation and cooking.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Available to work 20?40 hours per week, with evening and weekend availability.
• Food safety certification is an asset.
