*About the Role*

Join Edmonton?s largest framing company as an Apprentice (3rd or4th year) or *Journeyperson Electrician*, supporting our growing Electrical division on residential construction projects. In this hands-on role, you will be a key player in meeting production schedules while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. You?ll work alongside apprentices and other trades to deliver safe, efficient, and on-time homes across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Complete residential electrical installations in accordance with drawings, instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable Canadian electrical codes and company procedures.
• Perform electrical service work and install main electrical services on new home builds.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness on all job sites.
• Identify and correct deficiencies to minimize rework and callbacks.
• Guide and support apprentices through day-to-day mentorship and promotion of proper workmanship.
• Communicate proactively with the Electrical Manager regarding production, quality, or scheduling.
• Ensure required materials and tools are available prior to and during installations.
• Collaborate with other trades and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

*Requirements*

• Alberta Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of residential electrical installations and service work.
• Strong technical skills with high attention to detail and workmanship quality.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Lead hand experience.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Valid Class 5 Driver?s License with a clean abstract.
• Must supply basic hand tools.

*Working Conditions*

• Physically demanding work in residential construction environments.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent use of hand and power tools.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and construction hazards.

Pay: $33.00-$42.00 per hour

Experience:

• Residential Electrical: 2 years (required)
• Lead Hand: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Journeyperson or Apprentice Electrician Ticket (required)
