Your tasks
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties within the coffee shop and food court premises.
- Clean and maintain dining tables, chairs, floors, countertops and common areas.
- Clear used crockery, cutlery, food trays and other items from dining areas.
- Sweep, mop and remove spills, stains and rubbish to maintain cleanliness.
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment when required.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, sinks and other designated areas.
- Collect, segregate and dispose of waste according to proper waste disposal procedures.
- Clean and maintain toilets and common facilities to ensure proper hygiene standards.
- Replenish cleaning materials and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
- Ensure the premises are clean and presentable for customers throughout operating hours.
- Follow workplace hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Carry out other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or general cleaning duties is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and handle cleaning materials safely.
- Able to perform routine cleaning tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending and handling cleaning equipment.
- Responsible, hardworking and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Willing to work flexible working hours according to operational requirements.
- No formal educational qualification required.
