Curtain Walling Installation Technician

Your tasks

We are looking for an experienced Curtain Walling Installation Technician to install and assemble curtain wall systems on commercial, residential, and high-rise buildings. The successful candidate will ensure that façade systems are installed accurately, securely, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

• Install curtain wall systems, including aluminium frames, glass panels, brackets, and associated components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, installation plans, and façade specifications.

• Measure, mark, align, and position structural framing and façade components.
• Install anchors, brackets, gaskets, sealants, and weatherproofing materials.

• Ensure correct alignment, levelling, plumb, and secure fixing of installed components.
• Inspect completed installations for quality, stability, water tightness, and finishing.

• Identify and report installation defects and recommend corrective action.
• Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, glaziers, and other construction teams.

• Follow working-at-height procedures and all applicable site safety requirements.

Requirements

Requirements and qualifications

• Relevant technical training in aluminium fabrication, glazing, façade installation, or a related field.
• Proven experience installing curtain wall systems on building projects.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of aluminium framing systems, glass installation, sealants, and waterproofing.

• Experience using installation tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of working-at-height safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
