The team is still small enough that every person shapes what gets built.
JOB SUMMARY
- Wispr Flow is looking for a Senior Designer, Brand & Growth to join our marketing team and work directly with the Head of Design. This is a high-ownership role for a designer who loves making complex technology feel simple, human, and memorable. You'll work closely with the Head of Design to shape the creative direction behind product launches and campaigns, translating complex product capabilities into stories people instantly understand and bringing those ideas to life across web, email, paid, and social in ways that are both beautifully crafted and conversion-focused.
- This role is ideal for someone who thinks like an art director but enjoys staying hands-on in Figma. You're someone who can move fluidly from a big campaign idea to the smallest execution, whether that's a landing page, email, ad, or social post. You love solving creative problems, simplifying complexity through visual storytelling, and creating work that is both beautiful and effective.
- This is a marketing design role focused on brand storytelling, product launches, growth, and performance-driven creative, not product or UI/UX design.
WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING
- Help shape the brand of one of the fastest-growing AI productivity companies.
- Help define the creative direction behind major product launches that reach millions of users.
- Work directly with the Head of Design and have meaningful influence over the evolution of the Wispr Flow brand.
- Own work from concept through launch and see your ideas shipped quickly without layers of approvals or unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Help define how people experience the future of voice computing.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Work alongside the Head of Design to shape and execute the creative direction for major product launches, translating complex product features into clear, compelling visual stories.
- Develop campaign concepts and scalable visual systems that create a cohesive experience across launch emails, landing pages, paid media, social, and every major marketing touchpoint.
- Design high-converting web pages and landing pages in collaboration with developers, balancing creativity, usability, technical feasibility, and conversion goals.
- Create paid advertising concepts across multiple channels, including both static and animated formats, with an understanding of performance marketing.
- Concept and storyboard visual narratives for animations, videos, demos, and other motion-based content, clearly communicating creative intent for collaborators.
- Translate campaign ideas into thoughtful email and social executions tailored to each platform.
- Apply, evolve, and extend the Wispr Flow brand system through real-world campaign work.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product marketing, growth, developers, and creative partners.
- Execute quickly while maintaining exceptional craft, attention to detail, and thoughtful design decisions.
- Iterate based on feedback and performance insights while maintaining strong creative judgment.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- You take a brief and quickly develop thoughtful creative concepts without needing extensive direction.
- You consistently simplify complex product functionality into visual stories that feel obvious, approachable, and memorable.
- You love taking products that are technically impressive and making them feel instantly understandable.
- You produce polished work across web, paid, email, and social while balancing speed with exceptional craft.
- You proactively identify opportunities to improve campaigns, creative systems, and design processes instead of waiting for direction.
- You thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable starting from a blank canvas.
- You raise the quality of the work around you through thoughtful feedback, collaboration, and creative leadership.
- You are naturally curious, constantly exploring new ideas, creative approaches, and emerging tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience designing marketing campaigns for digital products or SaaS companies.
- A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end campaign thinking, including both final outputs and the creative thinking behind them.
- Strong ability to simplify complex ideas through visual communication and storytelling.
- Strong creative judgment and exceptional visual taste, with the ability to know when to push an idea further and when simplicity is the better solution.
- Excellent visual design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, hierarchy, and information design.
- Experience designing integrated, conversion-focused campaigns across web, paid media, email, and social, while partnering closely with growth marketing and web teams to test, learn, and continuously improve campaign performance.
- Ability to concept and storyboard visual narratives for motion-based formats, even if you are not executing the final animation.
- Experience collaborating with developers and preparing designs for implementation.
- Comfortable owning multiple projects in a fast-moving startup environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Comfortable receiving feedback from designers and non-designers alike, with the ability to iterate quickly and collaborate effectively.
- Curiosity about AI-assisted creative workflows and how they can improve speed, exploration, and iteration.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both visual and verbal.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working on AI products, developer tools, or other technical software.
- Experience collaborating closely with product marketing teams.
- Familiarity working alongside animators or motion designers.
- Illustration or accent illustration skills.
- Experience creating acquisition-focused creative with an understanding of marketing performance.
HOW WE THINK ABOUT DESIGN
- At Wispr Flow, we believe great design makes complex technology feel simple. Our job isn't just to market AI. It's to make it feel human.
- We believe the best creative work starts with curiosity. We ask questions, explore multiple directions, and push ideas until they feel clear, memorable, and unmistakably Wispr.
- We care more about thoughtful problem-solving than following a rigid design process. We value strong creative judgment, exceptional craft, and designers who know when to simplify instead of add more.
- If you're excited about shaping a fast-growing brand, translating cutting-edge technology into stories people instantly understand, and building the future of voice computing, we'd love to meet you.

- If you're remote: we're open to remote for most roles. We fly remote teammates to SF for three to four days a month and coordinate those weeks so everyone overlaps. Flights and accommodation covered.
Visa sponsorship. We sponsor visas: H1B, O1, EB1, L1, STEM + OPT, and more. We can't successfully sponsor for every role and every candidate, but if we make you an offer we'll make every reasonable effort, and we retain an immigration law firm to help.

We’re designing how humans interact with AI, which makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
