grader operator
*GRADER OPERATOR ? Earthworks Construction*
WCL is looking for an experienced Grader Operator who can cut grade, finish clean, and keep production moving. If you take pride in precision work and know your way around a blade, we want you on our crew.
*WHAT YOU NEED*
- 3?5+ years experience operating a grader in heavy civil construction
- Strong skills in fine grading, road building, and final trim work
- Experience with CAT, John Deere, or similar graders
- Able to complete daily machine inspections and basic maintenance
- Excellent grade control and ability to read plans, stakes, and elevations
- Experience with GPS and machine control systems
- Safety-focused with strong job site awareness
- Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions
- Team player with clear on-site communication
- Able to adapt and problem-solve when conditions change
*REQUIRED TICKETS*
- Valid Class 5 Driver?s License
- WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain)
*SCHEDULE*
- 7:00 AM ? 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
- 12 days on / 2 days off (every second weekend off)
- Weather dependent work
