Supply Chain Manager (Chemical Manufacturing MNC) - West - WCDT

About the Role We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to support the Department Manager in overseeing daily supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on inventory control, supplier management, workforce planning, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Ensure on-time delivery and effective inventory control .

Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance, Quality and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors .

Monitor compliance with company SOPs, laws, regulations, ISO and safety requirements .

Plan and manage daily operations and workforce deployment .

Monitor workflow, productivity and work quality, and drive continuous improvement.

Analyze data and prepare reports to identify issues and improve processes.

Promote cross-training, teamwork and knowledge sharing within the department.

Implement and maintain 5S, housekeeping and safe working practices .

Support process improvements involving logistics, procurement, inventory and transportation.

Lead or participate in Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement initiatives .

Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments when required.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field .

At least 5 years of relevant supply chain experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in team leadership and supervision .

Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, inventory management and transportation .

Experience in compliance, safety, environmental or trade regulations is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with good numerical and data analysis abilities.

Good knowledge of ERP, inventory management and logistics systems .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Proactive, hands-on and continuous improvement mindset .

Able to manage multiple tasks and handle ad-hoc assignments.

Experience with Manufacturing MNCs is an advantage.

Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM or Hazardous Substance Management will be an added advantage.
