Role Description The business development and operations manager is a full-time role responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the business (product, customer, sales, marketing and operations) Based in Lekki in a hybrid arrangement, the role combines on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The BD and Operations Manager will conduct market and competitor analysis, define product vision, and translate business objectives into clear requirements and roadmaps for betting and casino offerings. Daily activities include coordinating with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to deliver features, optimize user experience, and ensure regulatory adherence and responsible gaming standards. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, driving product improvements, overseeing promotions and campaigns, and engaging with customer feedback to increase acquisition, retention, and revenue.

Qualifications

Strong product management skills, including product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management Experience in betting, casino, or online gaming products, with solid understanding of odds, game mechanics, risk management, and responsible gaming principles Data-driven mindset with skills in analytics, performance tracking, A/B testing, and KPI optimization Knowledge of digital payments, fintech platforms, or financial services, especially in emerging markets Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, marketing, and compliance teams Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for betting and gaming, including licensing, AML, and KYC requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear product documentation Proven experience managing hybrid work, with strong self-organization, time management, and prioritization abilities Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage Prior experience in African markets or other emerging markets is a plus, along with a passion for innovation in digital finance
