Daily tasks

• Own and evolve the automated testing process across the HTC portfolio - frameworks, standards, tooling and best practices.
• Design and implement the test strategy across unit, API, integration and E2E layers.
• Build and maintain E2E automation in Playwright for React applications, backend integration/unit tests in xUnit (.NET), and frontend unit tests in Vitest / Jest.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD (PR checks, nightly runs, pre-release gates, post-deploy) with parallel / sharded execution.
• Introduce and champion good testing practices: testability, coverage strategy, meaningful assertions, test data management and clean test code.
• Validate data flows across Azure SQL, ODS and DWH layers; design data-driven scenarios and manage test data.
• Drive root-cause analysis, flaky-test management and reliability improvements; publish quality metrics and test artifacts for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers on acceptance criteria and coverage; review test code in pull requests and mentor on testability.
• Support UAT coordination - prepare environments, verify business scenarios and document results.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial experience in test automation with hands-on framework development.
• Solid coding skills in C# / .NET - able to read, write and debug production-grade code, not just test harnesses.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript for test automation.
• Strong Playwright expertise (or Selenium with readiness to work primarily in Playwright).
• Practical xUnit / NUnit and Vitest / Jest - unit and integration test design.
• Experience integrating automation into Azure DevOps (or GitHub Actions) CI/CD.
• Practical SQL (MSSQL / Azure SQL): test data setup, validation of data transformations, diagnostic queries.
• REST API testing - contract validation, status codes and authentication flows (JWT / OAuth / Azure AD).
• Highly autonomous and self-driven - able to own the automation roadmap end-to-end and set standards for others.
• Good Git practices, code review discipline and clean test code standards.
• English for technical communication (B2+).
