Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Civil and Structural Design Engineer with design experience and a passion for AI, digital technologies, and future-ready ways of working.

This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants to remain hands-on in design while progressively develop a leadership role - shaping how projects are designed, delivered, and improved through AI-driven workflows and grow towards a future leadership position in a collaborative, flat-hierarchy environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and perform structural design and analysis for building and infrastructure projects. Explore, develop, and implement AI-driven workflows across structural design, analysis, documentation, coordination and adopt digital tools to improve engineering processes and reduce repetitive work.
• Develop safe, practical, and efficient engineering solutions in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Review and improve digital design deliverables to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency. Experiment with AI and emerging technologies and turn them into practical engineering applications.
• Develop leadership through technical expertise, innovation, mentoring, and ownership. Influence how the team approaches design, automation, and digital delivery.
• Grow towards a future technical or digital leadership position in a collaborative, flat-hierarchy environment.
• Identify opportunities to transform conventional design workflows into smarter, data-driven, and technology-enabled processes during preparation and review of design calculations, technical specifications, reports, and project deliverables.
• Lead design reviews, feasibility studies, site inspections, and resolution of technical challenges.
• Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the development of future digital engineering capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification recognized by PEB.
• Minimum 6 years of structural design experience.
• Strong structural design and analysis capability with knowledge of Singapore and regional design codes.
• Experience delivering building or infrastructure projects from design through to implementation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• A hands-on, curious, and future-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge conventional approaches.
• Interest in using AI, automation, computational design, or digital engineering to improve the design process.

Preferred Competencies

• Practical experience using AI-assisted workflows in digital engineering, design, analysis, documentation, or project delivery.
• Experience in composite concrete-and-steel or precast structural design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and turn new ideas into practical outcomes.
• Interest in developing into a technical, digital, or engineering leadership role.
