Process Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing | East | Aerospace)

About the role We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer (contract) to support operational excellence and process improvement initiatives within a large-scale manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities Lead and support cross-functional Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies

Analyze manufacturing and business processes to identify opportunities for productivity, quality and process improvements

Collect and analyze operational data to establish baselines and measure performance

Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM), time studies and process capability analysis

Drive implementation of 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work and Mistake-Proofing (Poka-Yoke)

Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other stakeholders on improvement initiatives

Develop and conduct training on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies

Promote employee participation and support the development of a strong Continuous Improvement culture

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements

About you Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Process & Systems Engineering

Relevant experience within a manufacturing / production environment is advantageous

Good knowledge or exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels

Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to drive Continuous Improvement activities

Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
