Maintenance Engineer

We’re looking for an additional Engineer / Technician to join our team in Wingene, Belgium.
Responsibilities include:
- Execute planned preventative maintenance, machinery inspections, and reactive repairs across site equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, and spare parts/tool inventory
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the workshop and operational areas
- Carry out maintenance activities safely, including risk assessments, LOTOTO procedures, PPE usage, and safe equipment handling
- Identify and report safety risks, promoting safe working practices across the site
- Collaborate closely with operators, team leaders, managers, and external contractors to prioritise work and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Technical education (electromechanics, mechanics, or equivalent through experience)
- Experience and knowledge of technology and mechanics - ideally within food production.
- Several years of experience in a production environment
- Ability to be flexible working across Wingene and Oostende sites when needed with awareness of possible shifts being needed
- Basic knowledge of quality systems and HACCP standards
- Language skills: Good knowledge of English and Dutch
