Expert Vertica Administrator and Developer

We think you

• Are very comfortable coding in Python
• Possess a solid experience and knowledge in Database technologies in general and the Vertica Analytics Platform in particular
• Have a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and know how to apply them in pragmatic design solutions
• Know and care about sound engineering practices like automated testing and continuous delivery
• Are experienced in working in a Linux development environment
• Have a MSc (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• Have a background from Telecom or network related industries
• Are fluent in English, both in speech and in writing

Considered as Merit, but not mandatory

• Have a good understanding in C/C++
• Knows Cloud Technologies like Docker, Rocket or Kubernetes
• Are experienced in software and hardware network technologies Build world-class analytics backend that deliver the high-performance foundation for analytics and insights to network operators around the globe
• Build database schemas, queries and UNIX services
• Work both independently and close together in a strong, agile team that develops the key components which makes up the heart of our Analytics product
• The team is small and moves fast, with plenty of opportunities to take on responsibility and grow fast in the role
• Be involved in all phases of the projects – from analysis, design and development to maintenance and customer support
• Work in an organization with highly skilled members from very diverse backgrounds
