*SJW Decks is hiring a Carpenter?s Helper for the 2026 season. We?re looking for a reliable, motivated individual to assist with our *projects *through the end of the year, and into the winter. Previous carpentry experience is an asset, but not required. We?re willing to train the right person.*

*The ideal candidate will have:*

• 1+ years of construction or carpentry experience
• Basic hand tools (including a pouch, impact, and drill)
• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver?s license to get to job sites
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong attention to detail

*Responsibilities include:*

• Assisting the lead carpenter with various tasks on-site
• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for projects
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies
• Following safety protocols
