Required skills and experiences Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business and ideally 5-7 years professional work experience working with diverse global and local teams. MBA preferred.

Strong financial modeling techniques and analytical skills with advanced PC skills (emphasis on MS Excel, Access, and Power Point) and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly. Possess superior Excel skills including charting and ability to manipulate large volumes of data resulting from various sources into meaningful and dependable managerial information. What we are looking for We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Finance Business Partner who will support the Connected Buildings Line of Business.

Primary responsibilities include high quality financial and business support to various stake holders (e.g. R&D, Product Management, PMO) by assisting in maintaining strict cost control, driving continuous improvement, producing accurate and timely Forecast submissions, and providing meaningful performance reports. This includes analysis and coordination of a variety of financial data, reporting it in a useful and timely manner to management, and ability to provide recommendations for performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly reporting of actual vs plan and supporting analysis of spend, which will be used to make recommendations to improve business profitability and financial processes.
  • Manage CashOut to target. Review proposed spend, challenge and/or approve according to Delegation of Authority (DOA) using current workflow tools/systems. Maintain strong cost control processes and review.
  • Drives periodic Forecast build, review, and submission while incorporating active input and buy-in from business leaders.
  • Assists in the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations and other ad hoc requests as required Participates in product development project teams as Finance representative, and supports business case preparation and review. Support back office systems data integrity and maintenance: Project Time Tracking (MSTT), SPoT, eCube, R&D Capitalization, Hourly Rates etc. Support other special projects as required and other duties as assigned.

Proven ability to: work with incomplete data under significant time pressure to meet deadlines, work well independently, maintain a high degree of confidentiality, and successfully manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously.

Demonstration of strong ability to work with and influence others not within direct reporting relationship and effectively communicate with and engage all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams.
