Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and execute construction projects from tender stage through to project completion.
- Oversee both Addition & Alteration (A&A) works and new building construction projects.
- Manage project budgets, costing, claims, variations and contractual matters.
- Prepare monthly project cost reports, management reports and progress reports.
- Monitor project schedules, work progress and overall project performance to ensure timely completion.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and clients.
- Chair weekly site coordination meetings with consultants and clients to discuss project progress and resolve outstanding issues.
- Ensure all works comply with contractual requirements, approved drawings, quality standards and workplace safety regulations.
- Identify potential project risks, resolve site issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in both A&A works and new building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction project management, planning, budgeting, costing and contract administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and other project management software.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Self-motivated, responsible and results-oriented, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
