SUPPORT WORKER – NEWQUAY

Newquay £15.34 per hour 22.2 hours per week Temporary – 2 months Monday–Sunday, 8am–9pm REF: 106056

We’re looking for an experienced Support Worker to support customers who may have challenging behaviour linked to mental ill health and alcohol/substance misuse .

The role includes:

• Supporting customers with their individual needs and support plans
• Risk assessment and risk management
• Building positive relationships and providing day-to-day support
• Accurate record keeping and using computer systems
• Working confidently on your own and as part of a team
• Responding calmly and professionally to challenging situations

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Resilient and adaptable
• A confident communicator
• Friendly, approachable and positive
• Comfortable working under pressure
• Flexible with working hours
• Experienced in support work or working with vulnerable adults
• Basic/Enhanced DBS required, subject to the role.
