Your tasks

Summary Customers call to ask why an order is delayed or which service step comes next. You respond with simple explanations and check that each answer addresses their concern. Your tasks come from an incoming call queue and a list of customers awaiting return calls. The aim is to answer everyday questions and keep unresolved concerns moving toward a clear solution. A customer service team lead explains call priorities and supports you when answers need further review. You will work from home in a fully remote position focused on helpful customer conversations. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review the customer call queue and follow-up list in a CRM such as Pipedrive, a system storing customer details. Plan your call order.
  • Receive calls and make return calls through a business phone system such as JustCall. Begin with a polite introduction and explain your reason for calling.
  • Ask what the customer needs help with, then listen without interrupting. Use short questions to fill gaps in your understanding.
  • Answer questions about services, orders, and next steps using approved reference guides. Explain unfamiliar terms in words the customer can understand.
  • Help customers solve simple issues during the call. Ask whether the solution worked before deciding that the concern is complete.
  • Keep your voice calm when customers feel upset or rushed. Acknowledge their concern and guide the conversation toward useful next steps.
  • Add notes after every call, including the question, your answer, and the agreed next action. Keep details clear for other team members.
  • Send unanswered questions to the team lead with a brief summary. Explain what you have already checked and what still needs an answer.
  • Call customers waiting for updates and share confirmed answers. Check that their concern is resolved before closing the open issue.
  • Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and requests not to receive calls. Share daily call counts and common questions with the team.
  • Join call practice and coaching discussions. Quality is judged through accurate notes, polite calls, prompt follow-up, and complete customer records.

Requirements

  • Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with customers in the United States.
  • A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
  • No experience required; customer service, phone support, or other customer-facing experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn service information and follow an approved call outline without making unsupported promises.
  • Comfort learning a CRM such as Pipedrive and keeping customer details clear, correct, and easy to find.
  • Readiness to learn a business phone system such as JustCall for incoming calls and customer callbacks.
  • Ability to explain answers clearly, ask useful questions, and check understanding without rushing the customer.
  • Patience with repeated questions and care when writing call notes, setting reminders, and checking follow-up actions.
  • A quiet place to take calls and willingness to use coaching feedback to improve customer conversations.
