Pinewood Tool is a precision toolroom on a mission: to advance manufacturing by making precision components that others simply cannot. Under young, driven new ownership, we're growing fast and reinvesting every dollar into new machines, AI tools and, above all, our team. We're looking for CNC Toolmakers ready to master the craft, take on harder work every month and grow into top toolmakers.

What you'll do

Take precision tooling and components from print to finished part

Program at the control and in Mastercam, and run your own setups on CNC mills and lathes

Machine hardened tool steel, stainless, specialty alloys, aluminum and engineered plastics

Hold tight tolerances and own quality from first cut to finished part

Build new skills in programming, machining and complex setups

Bring ideas that make us better: new methods, new tooling, new technology

What you bring

3+ years of short-run CNC toolroom experience, or a completed toolmaker or machinist apprenticeship

Programming at the control on mills and/or lathes; Mastercam a plus

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T

Experience holding tight tolerances on small-batch work

A hunger to learn and pride in your craft

Our shop

Precision CNC milling, turning, grinding, and EDM, programmed in Mastercam and at the control. Since 1974, we've made everything from mold inserts and die components to fixtures and precision assemblies. We run on a modern ERP and put AI to work across the business.
