The Cashier assists customers with inquiries, provides product information, and ensures a welcoming and orderly checkout area. Daily tasks include maintaining point-of-sale systems, reporting any discrepancies, and following company procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds. The role also involves working closely with store staff to restock items near the checkout, support promotional activities, and uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Qualifications

Strong numeracy and basic accounting skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers and resolve issues promptly. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and comfort with using computers or electronic payment devices. Attention to detail and reliability in following procedures for cash reconciliation, receipts, and records. Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a steady workflow, and work effectively in a busy retail environment. High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or retail experience is an advantage. Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of customer and company information. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
