The Role HR Advisor

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge? We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing high-quality HR advice, building strong relationships with managers, and supporting a wide range of people-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management, and capability processes.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.
  • Support organisational change projects, including restructures and consultation processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR data.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The Person About You:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, professional, and able to manage a varied workload.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD is desirable.
